“The Brave Choice” is yours…!

Like a feather time has flown…. thanking you for your patience while I finished publication and distribution details. Below is the front cover. The jigsaw puzzle shows 30 drawings which I use to illustrate various topics. Around the puzzle runs the Table of Contents for the book in 3 parts.

  • Lays out the science we were never taught in school about sound, light, frequency and energy in the body and the earth.
  • Gives simple, practical ways to access and realign ourselves to the bountiful healing energy of the natural world.
  • Covers detox, diet & fasting, dental, sleep, vagus nerve, gut-brain connection, auras & halos, sunlight & firelight, structured water, red light, how water hears, feels and remembers, cymatics, the human biofield, sound healing, emotions & vibes, grounding, nature connection, Schumann resonance, electrical circuits in the body, acupuncture, German New Medicine, humming & chanting, relationships, meditation, prayer and belief, breathwork, God, spirit & soul, emotions & trauma, dementia as soul loss, soul retrieval, free will and purpose in life.

Early responses to the work are uplifting and comforting – knowing that the book has landed exactly as I hoped it would. I am humbled and grateful to Mark Rendell and Chris Ebrey for sharing their responses for you all to see. Here is what Mark Rendell had to say:

“Garuth, wow I received your picture book, thank you so much! I love it. It’s in its own category in the way that you are drawn in to understanding the key points you want to make. I love this approach – go in with the information via the right brain. Right up my street!

This must have taken up so much of your time and it’s all in there, your unique and positive approach, linking (and joining dots) to the wider picture of health and our environment and attitudes.

Very well done on this Herculean effort. It is truly engaging and illuminating, an essential addition to what we know and how we must act on holistic health approaches.”

Each of you will know me from one of my various roles over the last 20 years, either in landscape architecture of care environments, garden design, health research, illustration, care practice or local projects in Yorkshire or Lancashire, England or the Washington D.C. area.

  1. Dear Garuth

I hope this finds you well. Congratulations on finishing your book!

Since we last saw each other, I have been my mum’s full time care partner. It has been difficult, but I feel incredibly fortunate to have learnt so much about brain health, and am striving to protect my own, as well as my mum’s. Certainly, it has been the hardest thing I have ever done, but what an incredible experience it has been. It feels like my life’s work, and that everything was leading up to this time. To observe what has helped and what has hindered her health has been fascinating, and I know that when I am her age, my life will be different. One of the main things I have learnt is the huge impact chronic stress has on our brain health, and understanding how to reset your nervous system has been invaluable for us both. She has good days and bad days, but she is definitely improving cognitively.

I am currently on a Brain Longevity Training Therapy course with the ARPF, which is fabulous. My passion for this subject is still a bright flame and I’m so glad our path’s crossed.

I look forward to reading your book very much.

    Warm wishes
    Helen

PS I have been collecting many feathers recently and connecting with the herring gulls, so I was pleased to see your beautiful feather picture

    1. Hi Helen, How good of you to share your journey of helping your mother. I delved into the research for as long as I have in tribute to my mother. So hats off to people who are working with a loved one to improve their experience. Because we now know so many of the root causes that our parents didn’t, dementia can now (as Dr Bredesen says) be optional. Power to you!

    Hi Garuth
This looks brilliant. I was just about to order it but have arrived in Whitby for 4 days and don’t want it arriving before I get home as we have a leaky letter box! Will order when we get back.
I’m forwarding the email to our neighbour up the road, Grace Stead who runs dementia training sessions.
    All good things to you!
