On October 21st the Dementia Pioneers presented a special advanced screening of a new documentary, revealing the research of top American Neurologist, Dr Dale Bredesen. The film followed the life stories of six of his patients, whose dementia symptoms have been reversed by treating the root causes of their illness.

Below are results from the first clinical trial:

“Memories for Life” will be released internationally on November 15th when it becomes available on various channels (Prime, Apple TV, Vudu, Google Play, TUBI…) or go here http://www.memoriesforlifefilm.com.

Very special thanks to all who came to the Farming Museum in Murton Park for the film and joined in the Q&A afterwards. The audience found the film to be moving and powerful and the discussion that followed was broad-ranging. As many people were local there was much sharing of local resources, businesses, meet-ups and sources of organic food. Thanks also for your generosity which allowed us to cover all of our expenses.

The evening had a very friendly positive vibe, a sense of renewed hope in the future and a coming together of like-minded souls willing to make this happen. There is always quite a diversity of experience where some people are newly into their health journey and others are seasoned travellers – many people willing to help each other, creating a growing community of health and freedom to choose how we live our lives.

If you have not attended a Dementia Pioneers event, do try to attend the upcoming talk on November 10th in Huddersfield, hosted by Creating Health for All CIC and the PHA.
