Woodhouse & District CF 12th-13th June 2023

I just returned from a very successful Roadshow in the Woodhouse neighbourhood of Sheffield (my old stomping ground!).

Day One was a friendly informal chat around the table with people with dementia symptoms and their family members. We were hosted by the marvelous staff and facilities of the Frecheville Community Centre Sports & Social Club. Here is a historic photo of the Frecheville Carnival in Sheffield 70 years ago this week!

There is always quite a bit of information that people are largely unaware of which helps to address many of the symptoms of dementia. Then there are so many free and easy tips for connecting with the natural world of God-given healing energies. Such things we are never taught in school. So prevalent is the symptom-drug response to illness from our conventional providers! Now is the time to re-educate people about their inherent ability to heal. Hence, Dementia Pioneers has a lot of work to do!

On the next day, I met a lively informed group of people all involved in some aspect of providing services to people with dementia in the community or in the doctor’s surgery or at a community hub. Around the table were professional carers, social workers, OTs, care coordinators, social prescribers, a dementia information officer for the recently diagnosed, manager of a local NHS memory service, an engagement officer for a local older people’s charity, a volunteer driver… and a sound healer adept with the quantum health benefits of pitch and vibration!

So, it was quite a diverse audience and the discussions carried on beyond the allotted time before we all poured out into the hot June sunshine. I am most grateful to the host for pulling together such stimulating and diverse groups. My hope is that everyone left with something they can directly put into practice. I did hear that one lady from Day One got out right away with shoes and socks off and grounded herself on the lawn!

I look forward to returning soon to share more evidence of transformative health research with more people. I hope also to continue to explore cutting edge modalities such as healing with frequency vibrations of light, sound and colour. For these are truly the future of medicine!
